Our story
TestPilot was founded by Will Samuels, an ANZTB Associate Board Member and ISTQB® Advanced-certified Test Manager, with over 20 years of QA leadership experience across New Zealand, Ireland, the UK, the US, and Africa. He is also an accredited ISTQB® Accredited Trainer.
Will has led testing across complex digital, ERP (such as SAP, Workday, Oracle, etc.,) payroll, and enterprise transformation programmes. TestPilot explains the delivery model he has used successfully for years — combining trusted testing expertise with clear accountability and modern, on-demand delivery.

With 20+ years of testing experience across four continents, Wil has led QA for enterprise transformation programmes including ERP (SAP, Workday, D365), CRM (Salesforce), and digital platforms.
Previous roles include QA & Test Practice Lead at Millpond, Test Manager for major programmes at University of Canterbury and Fulton Hogan, and testing leadership positions across telecommunications, retail, healthcare, and financial services in New Zealand, South Africa, UK, and Ireland.
Wil provides senior oversight for all TestPilot engagements and delivers ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification training.
